This Labor Day weekend, essential workers are continuing to risk their lives by working during a pandemic — and far too many will get unlivable wages in return.

What does that say about how our government views working folks? What does it say that we haven't raised the federal minimum wage in 11 years?

I know what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck. So I know it's not enough for us to just celebrate labor one weekend a year.
