This is historic, John. And not
in a good way.

At 61%, Donald Trump now boasts the fourth highest disapproval rating of
any president in American history. Only three presidents ever had worse
ratings:

 1. George W. Bush (69% in 2008 — deep financial crisis + Iraq war)
 2. Harry S. Truman (67% in 1952 — Korean war + inflation)
 3. Richard Nixon (66% in 1974 — Watergate scandal)

Republicans are running this year with one of the most unpopular
presidents ever in the White House. The GOP is uniquely vulnerable — but
just running with a “D” after our candidates’ names is NOT ENOUGH to
inspire voters to support us.

Voters may be sick of Donald Trump, but national Democrats are also deeply
unpopular. Many people are disillusioned with the entire political
establishment.

We have to shake up the status quo and prove that our Democratic
candidates are worth voting for. That’s why we’re backing a massive slate
of bold progressive game-changers who are running for office in
competitive races across the country.

Trump and the MAGA movement, but we need this team to keep our efforts on
