The Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf,
has done such an excellent job at being a Trump lackey, that he’s
officially been nominated for the job!

Since taking over the role last year, Wolf has helped carry out the Trump
administration’s child separation policy, enforce Trump’s Muslim Ban,
undermine the DACA program, and more recently deployed U.S. Customs and
Border Patrol agents that have used forced against and detained peaceful
protestors in cities across the country.

In the months following George Floyd’s death, while unrest raged across
the nation, Trump – worried about his image – began cracking down on
protestors by ordering the mobilization of military and other federal
agents to contain protests. To comply with Trump’s requests, DHS deployed
unmarked forces that snatched peaceful protestors off the streets in
multiple cities without cause, violating their constitutional rights.

The complicity doesn’t stop there: following a recent Supreme Court order
for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to again process new
applicants for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program,
DHS issued a new memo saying they would “thoughtfully consider the future
of the DACA policy,” while taking no meaningful steps to begin accepting
new applications to the program.

federal agencies – DEMAND that the Senate vote NO on Wolf’s nomination! >>

During a hearing this past June, Wolf stated under oath that he had no
part in developing and enacting the separation of families and the caging
of children. However, in his then capacity as Secretary of Homeland
Security Kirstjen Nielsen’s chief of staff, Wolf sent an email to Attorney
General Jeff Sessions’ counsel that outlined options for curbing
undocumented immigration, which included ‘separate family units,’ as well
as expediting the deportation of children.

Wolf lied about his role in the inhumane Trump family separation policy
and we cannot allow him to continue carrying out this policy.
