Martina is unstoppable, John.
When the Rock and Roll Virginia Beach half marathon was cancelled, Martina didn’t throw in the towel. Instead, she decided to run the race on her own. She’s about to run what will be her 20th half marathon at this very moment.
She’s brought the same passion and determination to her fight to end gun violence. Since 2000, when she marched in the Million Mom March, Martina has been a tireless advocate for gun violence prevention and safety. She serves on the Brady board, as the Brady North Virginia President, and is on the ground fighting for Virginians and all Americans. She was an integral part in electing a gun violence prevention majority to the Virginia state legislature in 2019.
We know Martina won’t stop fighting for gun violence prevention and she’s certainly not going stop running. And she's always got goals. This year, she set a goal to secure 200 donations of support for Brady from advocates like you in honor of her run. Right now, she's 43 donations short. Can you donate $33 dollars today-- 20 for her years of advocacy and 13 for the miles she'll put in today? We want to meet her at the finish line with the news that - yet again! - she has met her goal! >>>
