PAC a Punch Like Phyllis!

As we honor Eagle Forum’s beloved founder, Phyllis Schlafly, on the fourth anniversary of her death, we are overcome with a sense of urgency about the mission that was Phyllis’s life’s work: mobilizing the grassroots to elect conservative candidates and to demand conservative policy.
In 2016, Phyllis surprised many of her conservative allies by endorsing then Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, based on his “America First” agenda, and, even more importantly, his promise to uphold the Republican Party platform.
For decades, Phyllis mobilized and trained allies to impact the Republican Party platform to ensure that it remained pro-life, pro-family, and pro-America. In the weeks before her death, motivated by Phyllis’ example and exhortation, Eagle Forum joined with our allies to impact the 2016 Platform. The document that emerged is the most conservative Platform in history — the quintessential Phyllis Schlafly Platform!
This year, Eagle Forum fought efforts by special interests to water down the 2016 Platform by reducing it to a one-page document and eliminating vital pro-family, and pro-freedom language. Thankfully, those efforts were thwarted, and because of the complications presented by the pandemic, the RNC voted to leave in place the 2016 platform.
We are saddened that Phyllis has not been with us over the past four years to celebrate as President Trump has kept his promise to uphold the RNC Platform by defending religious freedom, instituting policies to uphold the sanctity of life, taking decisive action to strengthen our military and secure our borders, by eliminating burdensome federal regulations, simplifying the tax code, renegotiating unfair trade agreements, and by moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
Here at Eagle Forum, we believe the best way we can honor Phyllis is to continue to elect Congressional and Senate candidates to enable conservative majorities to ensure that liberals are not able to block continued efforts to enact the policies reflected in the 2016 RNC Platform.
Phyllis was one of the first conservatives to establish a Political Action Committee to support candidates who reflect our values. Would you consider honoring Phyllis today with a contribution to Eagle Forum PAC? During these perilous times, your contribution is more important than ever!
We thank you for your support, your love for our great country, and for allowing us to carry on Phyllis’ legacy.
Faithfully,
Colleen Holcomb
President, Eagle Forum
