– Both attempted to overturn the 2020 election – Trump by telling his supporters to storm the Capitol on January 6, and Paxton by using his power as Texas attorney general to try and invalidate states that Joe Biden won.

– Both need the midterms to go well for their political futures. Trump wants to avoid accountability and a lame-duck presidency. Meanwhile, Paxton wants to elevate himself to the U.S. Senate.

We're talking about two corrupt individuals who have either been indicted or convicted of felony charges. We know they're both willing to cheat to win. That's why they're trying to suppress turnout in down-ballot races nationwide.
