He ran on Medicare for All, abolishing ICE, and taxing away wealth, backed by Bernie Sanders and the furthest-left wing of the party.

Fellow patriot,

I want to walk you through what happened in Michigan a couple of weeks ago, because it is the clearest warning yet of where this is headed.

On August 4, a progressive named Abdul El-Sayed won the Democratic nomination for Michigan's open United States Senate seat. He ran on Medicare for All, abolishing ICE, and taxing away wealth, backed by Bernie Sanders and the furthest-left wing of the party.

Here is what makes it a warning shot. El-Sayed did not beat some no-name. He beat the candidate hand-picked by the Democratic establishment, the one backed by Governor Whitmer, by the retiring senator, and by Chuck Schumer himself. More than sixty million dollars poured in to stop him, and it failed.

Think about that. This movement just proved it can win a United States Senate nomination in a presidential battleground state, over the objection of the entire Democratic leadership. That should alarm every one of us.

Michigan is not Brooklyn. President Trump carried it in 2024. And that Senate seat could decide control of the chamber this November.

This is no longer a fringe. It is a movement with the muscle to take Senate seats, and the only thing standing in its way is a Republican majority I am fighting every day to protect.

  HOLD THE SENATE: $25
  HOLD THE SENATE: $50
  HOLD THE SENATE: $100
  HOLD THE SENATE: $250
  HOLD THE SENATE: $500

Thank you for reading all of it, fellow patriot, and please chip in to help Republicans keep and expand our Senate majority. It matters.

Gratefully,

John Hoeven
