Social Security is at risk, and we need to act now to protect the benefits Americans have earned.

The Social Security trust fund is running dry, and instead of protecting this critical program, the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are pushing policies that put it further at risk.

 

For retirees, Social Security is a lifeline. People work their whole lives to afford retirement - but the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are making it clear: they do not care.  

 

The Big Ugly Bill and several other unjust policies have cut essential programs that benefit millions of civilians while MAGA’s billionaire buddies get a tax break. 

 

It’s deplorable.

 

Luckily, there’s still hope. The next Congress will determine whether these cuts take effect or whether Social Security will be saved. Our mobilization and organizing efforts will make or break critical programs like this.
