John, it’s Hannah Pingree with some good news and bad news about the latest polling in our race.

First, the good news! Our campaign continues to lead Bobby Charles by 11 points in the latest public poll.

But here’s the concerning news, John: Nearly 3 voters in 10 say their preference in the race could change.

There are no do-overs here, which is why my team and I aren’t taking anything for granted. We’re criss-crossing the state showing up in every rural county and our biggest cities, meeting with every last voter we can over the next 74 days. We’re launching TV and digital ads so voters hear about our campaign and my plans for Maine, and to ensure we aren’t drowned out by other competitive races in our state.

I want to thank every one of you who has shown up to an event, talked with your neighbors about our campaign, or chipped in to support our grassroots movement. Your time, energy, and generosity have brought us this far, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Now, there’s still a lot of work ahead, and we need your help to keep earning every single vote between now and Election Day. Because polls don’t decide elections – voters do, and we’re going to earn every vote.
