Defending democracy and delivering fair maps can’t be about flipping a switch.

We have to stay at it 24/7 with a comprehensive, always-on program of outreach and advocacy, including:

-Educating voters so no one is left in the dark about new maps or voting rules.
-Supporting and recruiting poll workers to keep elections running smoothly. (We just helped recruit over 300 earlier this month!)
-Organizing calls and emails to state legislators who are trying to figure out if they can get away with gerrymandering without angering their constituents.
-Working alongside our affiliate, the National Redistricting Foundation (NRF), to grow public awareness and mobilize grassroots supporters as the NRF takes on map manipulators in court.

All before a single map is drawn, or one ballot is cast.

Individual actions add up to a democracy that truly represents the will of the people. And individual donations add up to make all this work possible. Please make a contribution of any amount to help fuel Redistricting Action’s ongoing fight for fair maps and fair elections.

We can’t wait around to finally leap into action in the final weeks before an election — or at the last minute when a state legislature is about to vote on a new map.

We have to continuously recruit and train new volunteers. We have to regularly reach out to people who’ve been targeted by voter suppression. We have to keep a constant flow of constituents demanding fair maps and better ballot access from their lawmakers.

Map manipulators don’t take breaks. Just look at the national redistricting crisis that’s surged across the country for over a year now. So we can’t let up either.
