$200,000 in the leadup to November! This now brings the total spent against our
campaign to an astounding $720,000!

Will you rush in an urgently needed contribution to help me weather the storm
from the TV attack ads that will try to drag my name through the mud?

With our race virtually tied against my right-wing opponent, it was only a
matter of time before the GOP turned on the dark-money faucet to flood our
district with out-of-state money.
