Here is the truth:

For a lot of people, the American dream has become the American myth.

That is an unacceptable reality. So we need to be focused on results to reinvigorate that dream. And we’re going to have to toughen up a bit.

We cannot sit around and wait for Republicans to have an epiphany.

People’s rent can’t wait for that. People’s healthcare bills can’t wait for that. People’s childcare costs can’t wait for that.

We have to act now so Democrats can regain control in November and start the important work of rebuilding our country to meet the needs of the people.

I feel very strongly about this. So I am respectfully asking:
