I'm a commercial fisherman from Naknek, Alaska. I got into this race because I couldn't stay on the sidelines — and because I believe Alaska deserves a representative who actually understands the life people are living here. Polls show us leading when voters hear about both candidates. Race raters moved this contest in our direction. Mike Johnson flew to Alaska to try to save Begich because he knows this seat is slipping away.
