When a parent loses a child to gun violence, every day without them is difficult – but birthdays are some of the hardest. They are painful reminders that while you get older, your child never will.

That’s why, with Mark Barden’s birthday coming up on Monday, we want to make sure he knows that this community is sending all of our love and support his way – and making a promise to keep taking action in his son Daniel’s honor.
