Friend: I'm running against unelected Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) in Georgia; I have less than 60 days to win this race, and I need your help.

While my opponent is a former Wall Street executive who has cashed in on her public office and attacked the Black Lives Matter movement, I'm a pastor who has devoted my life to service. I'm running for Senate to stand up to corrupt leaders like Kelly Loeffler and Mitch McConnell and restore moral leadership to our government. And right now, political experts say we can WIN. 

Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight confirms that Democrats can flip Georgia blue – and The Washington Post says we have to win here to take back the Senate. But with polls showing this race nearly tied, Loeffler is spending $20 million of her own money to drown out our people-powered movement – and we're falling incredibly short of our Final Stretch Founding Donor goal. 

The battle for Senate control runs right through Georgia, and I'm counting on your urgent support to fuel us to the finish line: Will you give $5 or more now to become a Founding Donor of our Final Stretch Fund so we can flip Georgia blue and take back the Senate?

Some might ask why a pastor thinks he should run for Senate. Well, here's what I tell them: I've committed my whole life to service and helping people realize their highest potential. And I've always believed that my impact doesn't stop at the church door – that's actually where it starts.

I care about making that impact because I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I grew up in public housing on the west side of Savannah, Georgia. While my family was short on money, we were long on faith, love and humor – and because of their support, I went on to earn a college degree and become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, I'm running to make history as the first Black senator my home state has ever elected and give working families like mine a real voice in our government.

That's why I'm in this fight. But just as important is why you're in it, too. So whatever motivates you – from creating jobs to protecting and expanding health care – I'm asking you to invest in this once-in-a-generation opportunity to get it done and help us win this race.
