Governor Ducey this week was joined by health care leaders to announce a plan of action to increase influenza vaccination rates and urge Arizonans to get the flu shot.
Arizona Long-Term Care Facilities Look To Resume Safe Visitations
Arizona's Task Force on Long-Term Care developed recommendations on safe visitation at facilities and ADHS adopted them, creating the COVID-19 Guidance for Visitation at Congregate Settings for Vulnerable Adults and Children. Facilities that implement health and safety precautions can allow visitation as soon as this weekend.
Governor Ducey Issues Executive Order Delaying Expiration Of Driver Licenses
Governor Ducey this week issued an Executive Order deferring requirements to renew standard driver licenses that have an expiration date between March 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 by one year from their original expiration date. This action will minimize in-person visits to Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) Offices and help contain the spread of COVID-19.
