Did you know that this week is Texas Voter Registration Week? The Texas Democratic Party launched a historic initiative to register over 1 million voters across the state. This initiative has a particular focus on registering young Black and Latino voters to build on our 2018 Blue Wave momentum.

• In 2018, Texas ranked 41st in voter participation at just 46.3%.
• Despite that, in 2018, Texas Democrats won a dozen state House seats back from Republicans.
• And many, many polls this election cycle have shown Texas shifting to the left.

This means that if we can increase voter turnout, we will have the numbers to win. We will have the numbers to finally stop the Texas GOP’s hyper-partisan agenda. And we will have the numbers to finally flip the Texas House Blue.
