Dear John,

Today is September 4. The general election is on November 3. Less than two months to go.

In two months, we will face one of the most impactful political events of our lifetimes. We will elect a president, we will test our commitment to voting rights, and we will decide which of our legislators can continue to do their work in Congress. We cannot afford a misstep.

During this time of turmoil, we need leaders like Sanford Bishop who can hold our nation steady. Congressman Bishop has dedicated his career to rural economies, voting rights, health care, and bipartisan cooperation. His work on Appropriations and as the dean of the Georgia delegation makes him a crucial advocate for us in Washington. We cannot lose his presence.

To ensure that Congressman Bishop can continue speaking up for Georgia, we must use our voices to speak up for him. Voting is the most powerful tool we have, and this campaign will take all of us to get out the vote and ensure a fair election. John, if you can afford it, please make a contribution to this movement for the people: [link removed]

We must take our protest to the polls. Early voting will take place October 12 through October 31, and Election Day is November 3.

Make a plan to vote early. Double-check your voter registration. Ask your friends and family about their voting plans. Contribute to candidates who are working for the people.

Every voice matters. Every vote matters. This is our moment.

With gratitude,
Brent
