Donald Trump took little time off this holiday weekend from driving his agenda to rip apart undocumented families.

After agreeing to delay the raids to give Congress time to come up with a bipartisan plan to address immigration -- a time period that was mostly consumed by the July 4th recess where representatives weren't in Washington -- Trump had this to say:

Trump's decision to move forward with these raids without giving Congress a real opportunity to come together and create a solution is directly against the democratic values this nation was founded on and is simply un-American.
