The United States Postal Service is at risk.
Millions of Americans rely on the USPS to get everything from prescription drugs, Social Security benefits, bills, and even their mail and absentee ballots so they can safely make their voices heard from home in November’s election.
But Donald Trump refuses to provide relief for the USPS because he believes saving the postal service and protecting the right to vote will endanger his chances of being re-elected.
We saw what happens when voters are forced to choose between their health and voting in person right here in Wisconsin — and we’re not the only ones.
In Georgia, polling locations were closed throughout the state and poll worker shortages led to hours-long wait times.
In Nevada, the last voter didn’t cast a ballot until just after 3:00 AM. That’s wrong, and that’s why we are fighting back to make sure our elections are not undermined by Trump and McConnell.
