On behalf of LULAC, we are excited to invite you to volunteer with our new Youth Educational Enrichment Series (YE2S) program as a mentor and/or webinar facilitator.

LULAC’s YE2S program is an online 10-month webinar series and mentoring program that serves students between the ages of 13 to 18 across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Through this initiative we seek to empower Latinx youth to immerse in a STEAM-focused curriculum to decrease the digital divide and increase representation of Latinx in the STEAM-fields through social engagement and mentorship.

Each student will be paired with a mentor to empower them with important life, educational, and professional skills while supporting them as they plan for their future goals. Volunteers interested in mentoring will be paired with students based on common interests, such as career pathways, hobbies, and extracurricular activities collected through a survey provided by LULAC Institute.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to serve as webinar facilitators to develop and pre-record a 45-60 minute webinar. These webinars aim to engage students in critical thinking, explore STEAM fields, and develop life skills through professional development.
