Friend,
People ask me all the time what I'm actually trying to get done in Washington. So, I wanted to share a few of my priorities:
Affordability. I'm fighting to bring down housing and health care costs, and to make sure working families aren't the ones absorbing the cost of bad decisions made in Washington.
Accountability. When I see federal agencies mismanaging funds or immigration enforcement operating without oversight, I don't look away. I've introduced legislation to fight back, and demanded answers from ICE and Homeland Security officials.
Showing up. NJ-09 is one of the most diverse districts in the country, and every part of it deserves a Congresswoman who listens all the time, not just when it's convenient.
Government is supposed to help people, not make their lives harder. I'm running for re-election because this work isn't finished. Will you help me keep doing it?
