Lately, it’s getting harder to ignore what Anthony Constantino is actually spending his time doing online.
There are the songs and bizarre social media videos, including an AI-generated deepfake of Blake.
There are the constant personal attacks against Blake’s family business as a dairy farmer.
There are conspiracy theories and increasingly wild claims about our campaign, and he’s even gone so far as to attack members of our campaign staff simply for doing their jobs.
At some point, you have to ask yourself: Is this really how someone should behave if they want to represent the North Country in Congress?
We don't think so.
This isn't about being offended by a tough campaign. Politics gets tough. We can weather the fight.
But there is a difference between debating ideas and making your campaign about personal attacks, online spectacle, and conspiracy theories.
Blake is running to serve this district. Constantino is spending millions of dollars and filling social media with attacks.
We know which kind of leadership the North Country deserves, and our communities do too — that’s why in a recent poll we came in four points ahead of Anthony Constantino.
