John, A new investigation proves just how badly DOGE failed.

Elon Musk made bold promises that his new program would cut trillions in government spending and waste. By the end of the program, DOGE estimated it had only cut $215 billion.

And get this, it turns out even that was an exaggeration, John. Much of the savings DOGE tried to claim credit for were already underway.

So instead of actually cutting wasteful spending, all DOGE accomplished was creating chaos by obstructing well-functioning government agencies.

Remember the mass layoffs of experienced employees who had to be called back? Or the delayed funding for critical services like emergency response or disaster recovery?

None of this would have happened if Musk didn’t have Trump’s ear, and this is precisely why we need billionaires to keep their hands off our government.
