The Trump administration is trying to make it easier for big banks and financial companies to screw you over without everybody finding out about it.
Let’s talk about it:
- For years, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has published consumer complaints.
- These complaints have been PUBLIC for a reason, so YOU can find out if a company has been ripping people off before you hand them your hard-earned money.
- These complaints also include the company’s response, so you can make your own judgment.
- … but now Trump’s CFPB says it’s going to stop publishing them.
I’m literally a consumer watchdog taking on powerful corporations when they screw people over, so when Trump and his allies in Congress are busy turning off the lights and hoping nobody notices – I notice!
If this sounds like a lot of BS to you, will you chip in $26 and help me get to Congress, where I’ll fight like hell to protect consumers and hold these companies accountable?
