John, this Sunday, we’re launching the Climate Vote Project with our first virtual phone bank featuring 350.org’s North America Director Tamara Toles O’Laughlin.
Together, we’ll make sure voters in states impacted by climate chaos and voter suppression are signed up to vote-by-mail. We have 40,000 such voters in North Carolina who need to be contacted this week – so we’re asking for your help.
Before we start making calls, we'll provide a short training with our partners at the Environmental Voter Project and a script so you’re confident and ready to go. You need a computer or tablet with an internet connection and a phone to make these calls. After you join the Zoom, we’ll get you set up on our hubdialer to maximize your time and go over the script.
This work is too important to skimp on. We need to kick off our work on the 2020 election as strong as possible. That’s why we need dedicated activists like you on board, right from the start.
I really believe that this is our year to change the course of history in this country. But we can only do it together.
