I know you're not an ATM, and the sky isn’t falling. But I want to explain why our work isn't like all of the others.

Since the start of my campaign in 2017, I was told that if I wanted to compete with the national GOP machine, I’d need to “play ball” and take corporate PAC money.

And from that start, I have rejected that idea, and never taken a dime in those funds.

After all, one of the driving factors that led me to Congress in the first place was because I believed corporations and special interests had too much power over our political system.

I stuck to my values, and because of it, I’m much more connected to what really matters – the people I was elected to serve.

There’s no question that refusing corporate PAC money can make certain parts of campaigning harder, but I refuse to sacrifice our transparency and accountability to you.
