Believe it or not, we’re 60 days away from the election. Our team has been working around the clock talking to voters, delivering yard signs, and dropping off our literature. The momentum we’ve built so far has been undeniable, but we still have so much more to do — If there’s one thing we can’t do right now, it’s get complacent. 

 

In our last two elections, we exceeded everyone’s expectations with hard work and the support of our Downriver community,  and this year we’re setting ourselves to an even higher standard. That’s why we need your help.

 

If you’ve been waiting to jump in and help us keep strong leadership for Downriver, now is the perfect time. I can’t stress enough how important this election is — the future of your community and country are on the ballot this year. With the record numbers of absentee voters we’re expecting this year, voting begins when ballots hit doorsteps in just a few weeks. 

 

With all that in mind, here’s what you can do to get involved:

 

Get involved today: Sign up for our Grosse Ile Weekend of Action on September 12th and 13th here and talk to our neighbors on the Island about how important it is that we have strong representation in Lansing. If you’ve never volunteered on a campaign before, no worries! We do trainings before every shift to get everyone prepared to talk to voters.

 

Join us for our special event: Purchase a ticket to our Fall Kickoff with Governor Whitmer and Congresswoman Dingell here. This is going to be a great opportunity to hear from our state’s leaders and discuss what we need to do to flip our State Legislature.

 

Show Your Support: If you’re not able to donate your time, consider making a contribution to our campaign here. Your contribution helps us send out more mail, buy more yard signs, and reach more voters!
