Right now, all across Alaska, voters are casting their ballots in our open Senate primary, choosing my name from a list of 16 candidates, including incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received thus far from Alaskans in every corner of the state. I’ve held town hall meetings in the Bush, the Interior, the Southeast, the Kenai, the Mat-Su, and Anchorage, and I’m not slowing down. It’s a big state, but I want every Alaskan to be a part of this.
I expect to advance through this primary, and then it’s an all-out sprint for the last 76 days until the general election. That means more travel, more events, and more conversations to reach every Alaska voter, no matter where they live. That’s how we’re going to win what election forecasters and polling experts are calling the closest Senate race in the entire country.
Today, I’m spending the day in Anchorage – starting with casting my own ballot! Then, I’ll head to our field office to speak with volunteers before they head out knocking doors to get out the vote, just like I did in Palmer this weekend!
More than 10,000 people have signed up to volunteer with our campaign, and their work is paying off: The latest poll shows us leading in the general election by 6 points, in both the first and final rounds of ranked choice voting.
But the only poll that matters is the one at the ballot box, which is why my focus today is on getting out the vote. Though it still feels pretty good to be leading 😉
We have 77 days to make this poll a reality. 77 days to win support from thousands of Alaskans. 77 days to organize and mobilize the majority of Alaskans who want change and a senator who actually works for them – not themselves or their billionaire donors.
We are going to win this race – but not without a fight. The DC establishment and corporate special interests have already allocated more than $30 million into blanketing every TV screen, phone, and radio station in Alaska with ads against me, and after tonight’s primary, we’re expecting a whole new wave of dark money to pour into our state.
With your support, we can handle whatever they throw at us. So please, pitch in whatever amount feels right for you to help me take on the entire DC dark money machine.
Your support means the world to me. Happy Election Day! 🐟❤️🇺🇸
