Westminster might be quiet in August.

We aren’t.

In fact, we’ve been doing our best to make this summer count.

We launched Bigger Than Politics, delivered our petition for a National Commission on Electoral Reform to Downing Street, and helped people across the country take the campaign directly to their MPs.

Now we’re asking for your help to keep going.

We’re running our Make It Count crowdfunder until the end of August, to help us go into a crucial September with as much power behind our work as possible.

The window is open. We want to make the absolute most of it.

Here are just three things your support can help us do right now:

🎙️ Media Storm: plan upcoming episodes and take important political questions beyond the usual democracy-reform crowd.

🏛️ Parliament: do the less glamorous but important work of producing briefings, talking to MPs and making the case for strengthening the Representation of the People Bill and our democracy.

📣 Conference season: produce the materials we need to take our work - and your voices - directly to political parties this autumn.

And that’s just this week.

September could be crucial for our democracy.

For the first time, we have a Prime Minister who entered Downing Street backing proportional representation and a major democracy bill moving through Parliament.

We have a genuine opportunity to get a National Commission on Electoral Reform established and make progress towards fairer votes.
