Dear John,
Our book, Winning the Green New Deal, has been out in the world for just over a week, and the love we’ve seen in that time has been incredible. I knew this collection would be something special when Guido and I first started. But seeing what it’s become, how it’s transforming the way people understand our mission to win a Green New Deal—I am so proud of what this group of minds crafted. And I’m so thankful to everyone who’s spread the word about the book.
Don’t have a copy of Winning the Green New Deal yet? We're raffling off 25 copies of the book signed by me! And to top it off, every raffle winner will receive a free Sunrise "Organize. Vote. Strike." sticker and Green New Deal t-shirt. Start a new monthly donation by Sunday, September 6 at 11:59pm EDT for your chance to win.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

As we move toward the general election in November, we’ve got a lot of work to do to ensure we’re in the strongest possible position to win a Green New Deal in 2021. We’ve got to organize hundreds of thousands of people across the country to be ready to hit the streets in uprising and vote for Green New Deal champions at all levels of government.
Can you start a monthly donation to support us in the coming weeks? We have only 60 days to get out the vote and monthly contributions help us plan bigger and better tactics to make a difference. Plus, your donation will enter you into the raffle to win a copy of Winning the Green New Deal that you can use as inspiration for your organizing.
Thank you for your support.
Varshini, Sunrise Executive Director
P.S. - We’ll announce the winners of the raffle during a special event in partnership with Haymarket Books, next Wednesday, September 9th at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific. Join Guido and I as we chat with book contributors Ian Haney López, Rhiana Gunn-Wright, Alex Rojas, and Julian Noisecat about why winning a Green New Deal requires confronting both inequality and the right-wing's strategic racism.
