Good morning, team!

I’m writing you a quick message this morning before heading out to meet with voters during today’s primary election in Alaska.

If you can afford it today, I’m humbly asking for you to make a contribution to my campaign and Equal Opportunity Now for Primary Day today.

I’m sorry to be so upfront because – to be honest – Yup’ik people don’t like asking for money. In fact, I hate it! But I wouldn’t ask if your support wasn’t so important.

The reality is that today is the biggest moment for our campaign so far. And when it’s over, we have to keep ramping up for the final few months of the general election.

Yup’ik people also believe that when we set our mind to something, we can do anything. We use the word "ikayuquluta" when we work together to overcome challenges.

I firmly believe that, and I think we're at a point, certainly in Alaska, where we need to rise up and say we demand a Congress that helps all of us – not one that’s in it for their millionaire and billionaire donors.

That means we all have to do our part.

This team has been the backbone of this campaign since we launched just seven months ago, and I’m hopeful that this Primary Day will be no different.

So I have to ask again:

Can you make a contribution of $15, $25, $50 or whatever you can afford, during today’s primary election in Alaska to my campaign and Equal Opportunity Now? With everyone chipping in just a little bit, I know we can get where we need to be. [[link removed]]
