Lions like Massaï can suffer:

⚠️ Trained by domination, cruelty and pain

⚠️ Harsh, blinding spotlights in a raucous big top
⚠️ Constantly on the road, taken from city to city

You can only imagine Massaï’s anguish and distress. Enduring life in a circus to ‘entertain’ people and make money. What a miserable, deprived life for a magnificent lion.

It’s outrageous that Massaï was forced to endure this shameful existence. But now, there’s not a moment to lose. You could give this beautiful, 11-year-old the life she deserves, and take her home to our life-changing big cat sanctuary in South Africa.

Thanks to the incredible Olsen Animal Trust, Alakay’s lifetime care at Shamwari will be supported – but we urgently need to raise funds to help cover transport and logistics costs to get both lions to Shamwari, and provide lifetime care for Massaï.
