John,
Toxic cyanide bombs are one of the most horrific ways to kill wildlife – and Trump is about to bring this torture device back.
Buried in the ground, these bombs lure curious animals like coyotes and foxes close before blasting deadly cyanide into their faces. The poison stops their bodies from using oxygen, suffocating them from the inside. It’s such an agonizingly violent death that these devices were previously banned.
But now the Trump administration is planting them across 245 MILLION acres of public land. These indiscriminate killing devices can’t tell the difference between a coyote, endangered wildlife, a family pet, or even a person. Anything that triggers one could be at risk.
This is Trump’s latest attack on nature — and we need to be ready to fight back. If all of us chip in, we could launch a massive lobbying push on the Bureau of Land Management to immediately reinstate this life-saving ban, explore legal strategies, and power grassroots organizing wherever it’s needed.
We’re ready to go all out protecting nature from Trump, but campaigns like this take resources. Can you chip in to help us defend wildlife against brutal attacks?

The powerful Big Agribusiness lobby has pushed hard for cruel cyanide bombs, also known as M-44 devices, to protect their livestock from predators. But these lethal traps end up killing thousands of animals every single year that pose no threat.
They’re especially dangerous for endangered wildlife like gray wolves and bears, and have even poisoned people and killed beloved pets out walking on public lands.
It’s outrageous that this life-saving ban has been lifted – nobody should have to fear triggering a toxic bomb while out on a hike. But here’s the thing: this move is massively unpopular and Trump knows it. It’s why this change has happened quietly with no announcement and no public consultation.
That’s why it’s down to us to make this huge: lobbying decision-makers, plastering this across the media, commissioning polls, and whatever else it takes. With all of us chipping in, we can build the pressure needed to reverse this catastrophic decision.
This fight is far from over but it’s going to take all of us to win. Can you urgently chip in to stop Trump’s attacks on nature?
