This Labor Day, will you help people that are struggling?
For families facing hunger, for the homeless at risk of infection, for isolated seniors who cannot get the essentials they need and for families struggling to get back on their feet - where do they turn to in times like this?
Labor Day is a national tribute to ordinary people who have made daily contributions to the strength, property, and well-being of our nation. And now more than ever, we are reminded of the challenges that life presents when we are not employed and cannot provide for our families. The Covid-19 pandemic is dealing a severe blow to many families.
Where do they turn to in times like this? Catholic Charities exists for times like this.
The generous support of people like you helps to weave a safety net that not only feeds people today but also allows them to provide for themselves tomorrow. Because of your past support, families have a place to turn to - a place where they can regain the dignity of providing for their families.
Thank you for helping to do the Lord’s work. We are praying for you and your families during this incredibly trying time.
What a blessing it is to partner with you to support our brothers and sisters in the hour of their need.
