A recent Gallup poll found that the high court’s approval rating has crashed to an all-time low of 33%, down from 39% last year.

We can’t say we’re surprised by the Supreme Court’s cratering approval ratings. Their radical rulings continue to rip away our freedoms, including dismantling the Voting Rights Act earlier this year and clearing the way for map manipulation that shreds fair representation for voters of color.

Even a Republican former Federal Election Commission chair wrote that the Supreme Court’s ruling in that case was "illegitimate” and part of an "arc of injustice.”

So alongside A.G. Holder, the Redistricting Action team is working to pass Supreme Court term limits of 18 years, establish a binding code of ethics, and require that a new justice be appointed in the first and third years of each presidential term.
