As you know, the Communist Party USA is asking for Party members to join in celebrating its 101st anniversary by helping to reach out to other Party members throughout the country and ask them to update or renew their membership dues and donate to our Party.

This is not only important from a fundraising perspective, but crucial from an organizational perspective. During our last round of phone banking, I spoke to Party members of various backgrounds who stressed their appreciation of being reached out to. For many comrades without a local club, these calls are crucial to getting to know the Party on a more personal level.



I cannot express how appreciative I was to be able to have conversations with comrades around the country with a variety of perspectives and backgrounds. Being able to be a voice for the Party and to talk about our importance as organizers in our community was a breath of fresh air in the tumultuous and often hostile environment we find ourselves in as socialists in the imperial core.



While it may feel difficult make the hard ask for donations and membership updates, I can promise you that once you establish your camaraderie and friendship, these calls turn from mere phone banking to genuine conversations and movement-building.



The primary calling time is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (local time), though calls are welcome anytime during the campaign.



All you will need is:
1. Cell phone
2. Computer
3. Internet access



Please take some time out of your day to help us build our Party and speak with members around the country; at the very least, you'll meet a new comrade.
