Hi,

Yesterday, I reached out to ask if you would contribute to my campaign to help us catch up to our fundraising goals before we hit the mid-point of the quarter today.

I’m so grateful for the folks who’ve already chipped in in response, but the truth is, we’re not there yet.

The reality is that if we don’t catch up, we’ll have to scale back the work we planned to reach voters in every corner of Illinois and help other candidates flip the Senate blue. My republican opponent is self-funding and already has that advantage, so coming up short isn't an option.

This campaign isn’t powered by corporate PACs or special interests. It’s powered by people — people who believe, like I do, that Illinois deserves leaders who fight for working families, protect our freedoms, and stand up to extremism no matter how loud it gets.

If we each do our part, we’ll hit this goal, keep building the grassroots movement we need to win, and flip the Senate blue this November.
