The National Republican Redistricting Trust ([link removed]) is the GOP’s hub for coordinating a national redistricting strategy.


** WHAT IS REDISTRICTING

The United States Constitution mandates that state legislatures redraw districts every decade to adjust for population changes.


** Necessary
------------------------------------------------------------

State legislative and congressional districts are redrawn every decade to adjust for population changes. Redistricting guarantees a more efficient distribution of Americans per district.


** WHAT THE NRRT DOES

The NRRT coordinates the GOP’s 50-state redistricting effort.


** WHY IT MATTERS
------------------------------------------------------------

The district lines drawn in 2021 and 2022 will be in place for ten years. The legislators and members of Congress elected from those districts will set the policies of our states and our nation for decades to come. How lines are drawn now will matter for the preservation of our shared conservative values for future generations.


** WHY THE NRRT IS DIFFERENT

The NRRT focuses on the unique legal and data demands of redistricting and coordinates a nationwide redistricting strategy with the Republican Party’s national and state committees and conservative organizations around the country.
WHO IS ADAM KINCAID

Adam Kincaid is the President & Executive Director of the National Republican Redistricting Trust and Fair Lines America.

Prior to becoming the NRRT’s first Executive Director Adam worked as the Special Projects Director at the Republican National Committee; as the Redistricting Coordinator, Southeastern Political Director, and National Data Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee; and as the Deputy Political Director and Director of Policy and Research for the Republican Governors Association. His first job in politics was as the Voter Programs Director for the Georgia Republican Party.

He is one of the American Association of Political Consultants’ Republican 40 Under 40 honorees in 2020.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University where he double majored in History and Religion and a Masters in Public Administration with a Specialization in Public Policy from the University of Georgia.

Adam grew up all over the south - calling North Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Georgia home - before settling in Virginia. He earned his Eagle Scout while living in West Texas and is a member of the George Washington Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. He and his wife, Carolyn, live in Northern Virginia with their four sons.
