Hello, True Texans!
I know last week's newsletter already mentioned this, but I was once again impacted by the community we bring to activists within True Texas Project. Let me share...
I received a text message regarding our line dance classes telling me how vital the sense of community has become. The friendships and the exercise help us unwind and reboot. Has nothing to do with politics! After the Dallas meeting, one person stopped me to say he'd been to the Tarrant meeting on Monday and didn't want to leave. He said he felt that sense of community I'd written about and loved it. Then he experienced it again in Dallas.
A student from France who's only been in the US for one week sought us out, attended a meeting, and already signed up to be on leadership because he sees we are trying to stop what happened to his own country. He loves America! Wish Americans had that same passion! Another person asked on Facebook where she can make friends and get involved because she's new in Texas. I was able to list 5 TTP meetings and events in her area -- FIVE!, and she's going!
Nobody wants to be alone. We all need each other. True Texas Project is the solution. Don't miss out. I promise you won't regret it. We do this for YOU.

Thanks for reading! Thanks for participating! We've got great things coming up and have been having lots of meetings to finalize plans. This includes TTP@theGOP events, a special movie, holiday parties, a speaker theme for the new year, and even plans for our 2027 gala! We really do have so much fun in this army together!

PS. On Friday, Fran sent out a really long list of committee meetings happening this week at the Capitol. It was overwhelming even for me, so I wanted to point out one in particular that you can take action on regarding those foreigners driving trucks who cannot read or speak English.
Click here to leave public comment letting the committee members know you want them to ban foreign CDLs, mandate training for law enforcement on 287(g), require ICE immigration checks on all commercial moter vehicle stops, enforce English proficiency, require insurance companies to accept fault, exclude illegals from worker's comp, and strengthen penalties for injury and death. There are a handful of other great ideas. I got these from Chris Russo at Texans for Strong Borders!
