Friend -- Donald Trump wants sheriffs to police polling places. Yes, you read that correctly.
He has no authority to do this, but even the threat of voter intimidation is designed to prevent people from casting their ballots.
The president's party is already funding a voter suppression force that costs $20 million. Voters are already facing enough obstacles to vote in the middle of a pandemic this fall. We simply cannot tolerate these voter intimidation schemes.
Let's be clear: voter intimidation is a Jim Crow tactic and we must fight back!
In the past few months, tens of thousands of AOTL activists have contacted their members of Congress using our tools to demand important reforms that would make it easier to vote this fall. Our movement is fueled by grassroots donations of supporters like you. Help support this important work!

We've seen this playbook to suppress the vote before.
But now, we're seeing suppression of mail-in voting by conservative interference with the USPS -- and in-person voter intimidation at polling places.
We need to ramp up our advocacy in support of commonsense election protections like those contained in the HEROES Act and the Delivering for America Act.
Will you donate, whatever makes sense for you, to support our efforts to protect the right to vote -- a key step to securing fair maps in 2021?
