Sorry for the early email. I know you've heard a lot from my team lately, and the last thing I want to do is bother you first thing in the morning. 

But I had to reach out because we’re falling short of our mid-month goal, so I need you to chip in your first donation right now to help us get back on track.

You might not know this, but we just put another second TV ad on the air. We had to scale up launched early because we're seeing voters genuinely respond to our message of giving working people a real voice in Washington, and we couldn’t give Republicans the chance to drown us out.

The bad news is that we're burning through resources fast. We've overshot our budget in some places, all to make sure we're reaching, persuading, and mobilizing the Ohioans who will decide this election.

The GOP is flooding Ohio with over $130 million in dark money to run vicious attack ads that lie about me and my record. That will turn the tide against us unless we can raise more and reach more people, quickly.

That's why this mid-month goal matters so much. So I'm up early to ask: Please, will you give $5 or whatever you can to help us win in Ohio and hit our $1.4 million goal before the midnight deadline?
