Big news: UA Local 296 (Plumbers and Pipefitters) and IAFF Local 804 (Nampa Firefighters) just endorsed this campaign.

You know their work even if you don't know their name. Their members build the infrastructure our region's future runs on, from the Micron development to energy projects across this district. They also show up in our neighborhoods and communities in our most dire times of need.

Here's the thing about working people: they don't give trust away . They can't afford to. They watch. They remember who showed up and who didn't.

So this wasn't luck. This was 110,000 miles. Union halls, job sites, kitchen tables. We showed up. They noticed.

And they are not standing alone:

* NFFE (Federal Workers): Including the Forest Service crews and wildland firefighters on the fire lines right now, covering for every position Washington cut.

* IAM Machinists & Aerospace: These are the people responsible for laying the foundation and making our communities run safely and smoothly.

* Idaho's Teachers: The Idaho Education Association, AFT Local 3215, and the NEA.

* Grassroots Advocates: The AFL-CIO, the National Organization for Women, and the National Federation of Democratic Women.

See the pattern? That's not the D.C. donor class picking a favorite. That's the people on the ground doing the actual work: teaching our kids, fighting our fires, building our state. They looked at this race and chose us.

Russ Fulcher? He voted no on the PRO Act , the strongest workers' rights bill in a generation. He votes with the crowd that cut the fire crews. And he won't stand in a room and answer for any of it.

Working Idaho is making a statement anyway: our voice means something, even if D.C. is willing to sell us out. They're done waiting. They're organizing.

Now here's the honest part. Unions bring hands, doors, and trust in towns we have to win. What they don't bring is a corporate checkbook. Neither do we. No corporate PACs. Just Idahoans.

So working people just stood up for this campaign. Whether that becomes a win depends on what the rest of us do next.
