Is your household affected by back
to school, too? Our small (but mighty!) mostly volunteer team has been
working alongside the statewide and county Democratic coordinated
campaigns, adding a merch store to our website (launching soon!),
setting up Meet & Greets (reply to this email to host one!) and
fleshing out GOTV (“Get out the vote”) plans. There are soooo many
meetings. But there is also so much encouraging news.
Texas is officially in play for
Democrats this year! Talarico is surging ahead in the polls against
fraudulent, bribery-making, and cheating Ken Paxton.
And guess what?
We’re going to be listed right under his name on the
ballot.
And thanks to Republicans hubris, this monstrously
gerrymandered 27th district is more like a swingable +6 than a
+15.
So when Democrats go to the polls
this year, they are going to have back-to-back hard working teachers
to vote for.
But it goes beyond Democrats. We’re
growing the coalition here in TX-27 to include:

Veterans who are watching sailors deployed in the Middle East jump
overboard because the
conditions on the ships are so horrific.

Parents who lost health insurance and are now desperately
praying their kids don’t
get sick.
💰 Small
business owners who might have to close and let go of their employees
because life has gotten so
d*mn expensive for everyone.
The money you invest in this race
helps Democratic candidates up and down the entire ballot, from
Talarico to our local council member.
