Formerly All On The Line

John, this is alarming: Anti-democracy extremists are using a deeply discriminatory relic from the Jim Crow era to suppress your vote.

Election deniers are promoting mass voter challenges to stop Americans from casting a ballot in the midterms. It’s long been the case that individuals or organizations can contest whether someone is eligible to vote. But for the last few decades, the tactic was rarely used.

That’s no longer the case: In 2024 alone, election deniers filed 185,232 voter challenges. And those are just the challenges that we know about — the real number is likely much higher.

This voter suppression tool has now become an integral part of the anti-democracy playbook. Power brokers in Washington spread conspiracy theories that prompt election deniers to file baseless claims. They bury officials with pointless work and sow chaos in our elections in the process. What’s worse, the people being targeted by these claims are often historically marginalized voters.

Making sure every American is able to make their vote count is a key part of our mission — and it’s more important than ever before. Will you help ensure Redistricting Action has the resources needed to push back against this threat to our voting rights?
