Texas Values donated 640 Ten Commandments posters to Copperas Cove ISD to ensure that there are displays in every district classroom in compliance with the Texas Ten Commandments Law (S.B. 10). See our press conference announcing the donation here.
Jonathan Covey, Policy Director for Texas Values, released the following statement:
"The Ten Commandments helped shape the moral and legal foundation of our nation, and we’re proud to help ensure that history is displayed to the next generation. Students in Copperas Cove ISD deserve to know the principles and ideas that helped shape the country they will one day inherit."
In April 2026, the Fifth Circuit ruled that S.B. 10 is constitutional and may be enforced. The court concluded that the law does not resemble a historical religious establishment and does not compel students to engage in religious worship, prayer, or recitation.

Headed Back to School? Know Your Rights!
|

The back to school season is upon us! Between schedule planning and supply shopping, take a minute to familiarize yourself with the rights of parents and students in Texas schools.
Parents Have the Right to:
- Review your child’s educational records and request corrections
- Weigh in on school district matters
- A reasonable expectation of privacy
- Say “Merry Christmas”
- Pray on public school grounds
- Control sex education content for your child (school must have “opt-in” permission from parents first)
- Have your child participate in safer, sex-separated sports
We are blessed to live in a country and state that defends parental rights! Parents have the right to guide and direct their child’s education, which includes the institutions they attend and the content they are learning. In Texas, we promote school choice! Parents have the right to withdraw from public education and send their children to private school or to homeschool them.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released a report that found a number of hospitals in the United States committed insurance fraud and gained large profits from performing irreversible sex change operations on children. The official report titled, Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospitals Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of “Gender Medicine”, was released today. Following the release of the report, Vice President J.D. Vance has ordered the Department of Justice to investigate the hospitals and clinics in the report that were found to have committed fraudulent activity regarding child sex change operations.
Mary Elizabeth Castle, Director of Government Relations for Texas Values, said:
“I am grateful for the continued work that Secretary Kennedy and Admiral Christine are doing to protect children from these harmful and irreversible sex change procedures. The report revealed today reveals the sinister and dishonest nature of the practice that has occurred for far too long in doctors seeking financial gain off of vulnerable children who are suffering to accept their God-given identity. Great Texans like Dr. Eithan Haim and nurse Vanessa Sivadge pioneered the efforts to reveal the fraud in Texas hospitals and I am encouraged that Vice President Vance will finish the job in investigating hospitals across the United States.”
