Make sure your vote is counted! Here’s your checklist for voting in this election - by mail or in person.

Your vote counts

Hi John,

Vote-by-mail begins in just 21 days, and there are only 60 days until election day. We want to make sure that your vote is counted. Here’s your safe, fair voting checklist:

1. Make sure you are registered to vote!

Sounds simple but this can’t wait until the day of the election.  Before October 5th, check that you and your loved ones are registered to vote.

2. Voting by mail

Not yet registered to vote-by-mail? Request your mail-in ballot before October 24th. If you are already signed up to vote-by-mail, you will get your ballot between September 24th and October 1st. Remember to seal and sign it before returning it!  More information here. It is recommended that you actually mail the ballot in by October 24, but you can also drop the ballot off at any early voting site through November 1.

3. Voting (Early) in Person

If you vote in person, bring a valid photo ID and then vote early at any early voting site between October 24th and November 1st or vote on November 3rd in your precinct from 7am to 7pm.  Voting early in person is the safest, best way to make sure your vote counts.

4. Vote up and down the ballot

Make sure you vote all the way up and down the ballot and encourage others to do the same.

5. Be a poll worker

If you are healthy and have time, you can be a paid poll worker. Help at the polls is greatly needed this year.  More information here.

Please reply to this email if you have any questions or concerns about voting.

Thanks for being a voter!
