As Pramila’s Finance Director, my job is to make sure we’re on track to meet our fundraising goals so we can continue to fund everything this campaign does.
Since we’re approaching the halfway point in August, I’ve been poring over the spreadsheets, and it looks like we need to raise another $10,000 by midnight tomorrow night to stay on track for the month.
So naturally, I went to take a look at our supporter records for this year. Here’s what we have on file for you:

Since Pramila’s first run for Congress, our campaign has been funded by grassroots donations and individual donors — not corporate PACs or lobbyists. Every dollar you chip in directly supports our work for Washington’s 7th congressional district and the entire progressive movement.
With Donald Trump and his MAGA allies marching steadily toward authoritarianism, we have no time to waste. Our team is working every single day to build the nonviolent resistance movement we’ll need to defend our democracy and create a government that puts working people first.
But we have a lot more to do if we’re going to deliver on that — starting with pushing back against AIPAC and the corporate interests who have stood in the way of our progressive agenda, retaking the House majority, and electing even more bold progressives to Congress who will support transformative policies like Medicare For All.
We know how much we can do together as a grassroots movement against authoritarianism and corporate influence. Let’s keep it going.
