This is the most corrupt administration in American history, and it's not particularly close.

Another Wall Street Journal story has revealed the Treasury Department's top tax official was forced out of his job after he warned the White House they were at risk of violating a federal law for getting involved with IRS audits.

Trump wants to be untouchable to the IRS. He had fixer, Todd Blanche, cut a deal ensuring he'll never be audited — while pushing to use the IRS as a weapon against his political enemies.

All these things point in the same direction.

As I've said time and again, I wake up every morning just like you and I read these stories. While I wish that all these corrupt things weren't happening, we must not look the other way.

I’m going to continue to fight for as long as it takes and to make sure that we put in place rules so this sort of thing cannot happen again -- because, either we will end the corruption or the corruption will be the end of us.

And if we can win the majority this fall, we're going to stop them in every way: with the power of the purse, with legislative power, and with congressional investigative powers.
