This Labor Day got me thinking. If we're going to bring this country and its economy into the future, it has to be a woman's economy.

Maggie Toulouse Oliver for U.S. Senate

Jack,

Labor Day's always a time for me to reflect.

And this year, I gave a lot of thought to all the gains the labor movement has made — from the 40 hour workweek to safer workplaces — as well as what we still need to achieve for working families.

And the answer to me is simple: If we're going to bring this country and its economy into the future, it has to be an economy that works for women. That means equal pay for equal work, paid family leave, and universal pre-K to start.

As a single mother who had to work twice as hard to get ahead, I know that all of these steps would make a difference in lifting up our neighbors — not just women, but everyone. It's why I'm fighting to get to the Senate to be a voice for all working families, and I need you to stand with me.

Chip in to our campaign so I can fight for New Mexico's working families in the Senate.

This economic vision isn't mine alone.

I am so proud to be endorsed by the Working Families Party, because I know they share the same vision for a better economy. We have to fight for an economy that works for the many, not just the few. And a lot of the policies that are designed to support women are good for everyone.

We need to take a lesson from organized labor and build an economy that works for all of us. Are you with me?

Chip in today if you're ready for a women's economy for New Mexico.

Let's do this,

Maggie
